Caleb Wilson, No. 14 UNC Upset Cameron Boozer, No. 4 Duke in Rivalry Game, Stun CBB Fans

Caleb Wilson and Seth Trimble lifted No. 14 North Carolina to a dramatic 71-68 win over rival Cameron Boozer and No. 4 Duke on a buzzer-beating 3-pointer.

After trailing for most of the night, the Tar Heels completed a stunning comeback against their ACC rivals, capped by Trimble's game-winning shot at the horn to seal the upset.

Wilson paced North Carolina with 23 points, four rebounds, two steals and a block, shooting an efficient 66 percent from the field. Trimble added 16 points and three steals, punctuating the comeback with a clutch game-winning 3-pointer.

For Duke, Boozer finished with 24 points and 11 rebounds for a double-double, while Dame Sarr added 13 points and six rebounds. Their efforts, however, were not enough to hold off the surging Tar Heels.

Fans reacted in awe to North Carolina's dramatic comeback and buzzer-beating finish.

With the win, No. 14 North Carolina improved to 18-4 and is expected to make a jump in the AP Top 25 after knocking off No. 4 Duke, which fell to 20-2.

Duke led 41-29 at halftime behind 10 points and five rebounds from Dame Sarr. Cameron Boozer and Isaiah Evans added nine points apiece.

For the Tar Heels, Wilson paced the way with 17 points, though three of UNC's five starters were held scoreless in the first half. Trimble had six points at the break.

North Carolina stormed back in the second half, outscoring Duke 42-27 and tying the game at 68 with 1:40 remaining. Out of a timeout, Trimble drilled a game-winning 24-foot 3-pointer to seal the upset.

The Tar Heels will look to build on the momentum Tuesday when they travel to face Miami.
