Tom Brady Admits He's Seen 'Maybe' 15 Drake Maye Plays Ahead of Patriots' Super Bowl vs. Seahawks
New England Patriots legend Tom Brady admitted that he hasn't been watching his former team much during the first two seasons of the Drake Maye era.
"I've been broadcasting now for two years. My game's on Sunday, I do the NFC. I've watched, maybe over the course of his career, 15 of his plays," Brady told Jim Gray around the 8:23 mark of Tuesday's episode of the Let's Go! podcast.

1 Prospect Each Team Must Avoid in 2026 NFL Draft
"I just have not seen the Patriots play much at all. I've been working on Sundays. My time and energy is focused on the teams that I'm covering."
Brady joined Fox Sports' Kevin Burkhardt on the broadcast for the Philadelphia Eagles' win over the Kansas City Chiefs in last year's Super Bowl LIX.
This year it will be NBC's Cris Collinsworth and Mike Tirico calling Super Bowl LX as Maye and the Patriots take on the Seattle Seahawks this Sunday in Santa Clara.
Brady went on to express confidence in Maye just from what he knows of Patriots offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels.
McDaniels has worked for 14 seasons as the Patriots' OC over multiple separate stints, including 11 that overlapped with Brady.
"I know the kind of coaching that he's gotten from Josh McDaniels. Josh is a tremendous coach. He's really taught Drake some of the nuances of playing quarterback," Brady said.
"Drake has done everything that the team has asked him to do. He's done a great job running the offense, making plays with his elgs. He's a really good downfield passer, I know that about him. Drake has a lot of great physical, mental and emotional tools that I think allow him to be successful."
Brady may not have spent much time watching Maye, but the Patriots' current quarterback said during media days ahead of Super Bowl LX he had met with Brady "a few times" early in his career."
"One of the best thing's he's said is, 'There's no shortcuts to it.' There's no shortcuts to putting in the work... Get the most out of what you put into it," Maye said Monday when asked about advice he'd received from Brady.
Brady, who played 20 seasons and won six Super Bowls as a member of the Patriots but is now a minority owner of the Las Vegas Raiders, denied he's rooting for Maye and his former team in the upcoming championship game when asked about it by Gray.
"I don't have a dog in the fight in this one. May the best team win," Brady said.
Brady has previously confirmed he will be in attendance at Super Bowl LX when the game kicks off next Sunday at 6:30 p.m. ET at Levi's Stadium.
