Why Matthew Stafford Will Wear Scuba Suit vs. Bears amid Latest Weather Forecast in Chicago
Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford will wear a scuba suit to stay warm during the team's upcoming clash with the Chicago Bears in the divisional round of the playoffs at Soldier Field.
"I've worn it quite a few times since I've been here," Stafford told ESPN's John Keim. "It keeps you warmer. That's how it affects me. It's not skintight or anything like that."
Stafford started wearing a scuba suit when playing in the cold weather during his tenure with the Detroit Lions from 2009 through 2020, per Keim.
