Tyreek Hill Says He's Going to 'Start My Trash Talk' with Track Stars Amid Lyles Beef, Injury Rehab
Tyreek Hill is getting ready to begin a war of words with several top track athletes during the 2026 offseason.
The Miami Dolphins wide receiver wrote that he's going to "start my trash talk with all the track guys" in a Friday post on X.
Hill had been going back and forth with Olympic gold medalist Noah Lyles after the 2024 Paris Games, and the two were scheduled to race one another in July 2025.
Lyles eventually announced that the race was canceled due to personal reasons.
Hill ended up beating his brother, professional sprinter Josephus Lyles, in the 100-meter dash instead.
During the 2025 NFL season, Hill appeared in four games before suffering a dislocated left knee and multiple torn ligaments, including the ACL, on Sept. 21.
The 31-year-old was an accomplished track athlete in high school and eventually showcased his blazing speed throughout his career with the Dolphins and Kansas City Chiefs.
Hill has crossed the 1,000-yard threshold in six seasons, including a 2023 campaign in which he led the league with 1,799 yards and 13 touchdowns.
