Livvy Dunne Praises 'Incredible' Paul Skenes, Marvels at Boyfriend's NL Cy Young Award
Former LSU gymnast Livvy Dunne reflected on her boyfriend, Pittsburgh Pirates star Paul Skenes, earning the National League Cy Young Award for the 2025 season.
"It means a lot to me," Dunne told Skyler Caruso of People. "Everything he accomplishes is so well-deserved because I see what he does everyday and it's a lot of stuff. I mean, he acts like he enjoys doing it every day, but I mean you just can't enjoy it every single day."
"He does so much," she added. "It's doing it when you don't want to do it and I see it, and it's incredible that somebody at his age has accomplished what he has. It's cool that I get to be by his side while he does it."

Dunne was present along with Skenes' family and friends as he earned Cy Young recognition following his 2025 campaign.
The 23-year-old was the fifth-youngest player to ever receive the award (h/t MLB.com's Brian Murphy).
After earning NL Rookie of the Year honors in 2024, Skenes remained dominant on the mound throughout his second season.
He led the majors with a 1.97 ERA, recording 216 strikeouts compared to 42 walks in 187.2 innings of work. Opposing batters hit just .199 against him.
Skenes particularly excelled to close out the year, allowing just four earned runs across 26.2 innings pitched throughout his final five starts.
While the two-time All-Star prepares for next season, he'll also get ready to suit up for Team USA in the 2026 World Baseball Classic.
