'Dirty Ass S--t,' Patriots' Christian Barmore Rips Jets' Armand Membou After Win
New England Patriots defensive tackle Christian Barmore ripped New York Jets right tackle Armand Membou following Sunday's 42-10 win, accusing him of a dirty hit on the final play of the second quarter.
"What happened was sorry ass No. 70 did dirty-ass s--t behind my back," he told reporters. "People want to talk s--t, but he ain't out there on this field. I'm just saying, bro. They want to act tough, you go in the locker room."
"The play was already over," he continued regarding the play in question. "I heard the whistle blown. Bro came behind me and literally landed his whole body on my back. I could have gotten hurt. I've never been a dirty player."

Barmore was on the ground following an Isaiah Davis run when Membou piled onto him behind the play.
He was held back by New England head coach Mike Vrabel and a number of other Patriots players and staffers as the two teams headed to the locker rooms at halftime. He said Vrabel saw what happened and told him to keep his composure.
"It's for the team," Barmore added. "We got to keep calm for the team. We already knew what they were doing, so we had to keep cool for the team. We got the win. Look at the scoreboard. I'm proud of my team, proud of us, proud of the D-line. We're just going to keep getting better."
The Patriots can gloat about the scoreboard on more than one front. The team also clinched the AFC East title with Sunday's blowout win and Buffalo's 13-12 loss against the Philadelphia Eagles. It's the team's first division title since 2019, Tom Brady's last year in New England.
At 13-3, the Patriots still have a chance to clinch the top overall seed in the AFC playoffs, though they'll need to beat the Miami Dolphins and will need the Denver Broncos to lose against the Los Angeles Chargers. Either way, it's been quite the turnaround after consecutive 4-13 campaigns, and Vrabel was able to remind Barmore on Sunday that the Patriots have bigger targets in sight.
