Kiyan Anthony, Son of Carmelo, Discusses Relationship With Lakers' Bronny James
Kiyan Anthony is in rare company as the son of an NBA legend trying to make a name for himself.
Luckily, the son of Carmelo Anthony has a friend who can relate. The Syracuse freshman said that he's leaned on Los Angeles Lakers' Bronny James, son of LeBron James, for advice.
"I feel like throughout this process, you could feel like you're alone," he said, per ESPN's Myron Medcalf. "You feel like the weight of the world is on your shoulders and there is nobody behind you. But then having friends like that, that are going through the same thing that I'm going through, somebody like [Bronny] -- he is way ahead of me and already in the NBA and going through way worse, so it always could be worse. I feel like pressure is just an opportunity for success."
It likely won't be long until Anthony is in the NBA alongside James. He's had a strong start to the year, putting up 10.9 points for the Orange while coming off the bench.
Once he gets to the league, he'll have people like James to count on for advice on navigating new territory.
