
Chiefs' Patrick Mahomes Hypes Texas Tech CBB After Huge Upset Win vs. No. 3 Duke
Kansas City Chiefs star and former Texas Tech quarterback Patrick Mahomes gave a shoutout to the Red Raiders' basketball team on social media following an 82-81 upset win over No. 3 Duke on Saturday.
Texas Tech trailed by as many as 17 points before coming back to hand the Blue Devils their first loss of the season.

The Red Raiders also faced a 74-63 deficit with just under seven minutes remaining in the second half, but closed the contest on a 19-7 run to emerge victorious.
Christian Anderson scored a game-high 27 points and shot 5-of-9 from behind the arc for Texas Tech, while LeJuan Watts chipped in with 20 points on 10-of-17 shooting.
JT Toppin also recorded a double-double by scoring 19 points and grabbing 10 rebounds.
As for Duke, standout freshman Cameron Boozer finished with 23 points, eight rebounds, seven assists, two steals and one block. Boozer missed five free throws and committed four turnovers, though.
The Red Raiders improved to 9-3 with the win, looking to make a third consecutive March Madness appearance under head coach Grant McCasland.
