After all, he played 10-plus seasons with Memphis until it traded him to Toronto during that title-winning campaign.
Gasol was a three-time All-Star with the Grizzlies and also took home the 2012-13 Defensive Player of the Year. He was also an All-NBA Second Team selection that season and made the First-Team during the 2014-15 campaign.
In all, he averaged 15.2 points, 7.7 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 1.5 blocks per game while shooting 48.4 percent from the field and 34.4 percent from deep during his time with the Grizzlies. From there, he was a veteran leader for the champion Raptors and then finished his career on the Lakers.
His brother won two championships with the Lakers.
As for Kirilenko, he played for the Utah Jazz, Minnesota Timberwolves and Brooklyn Nets during a career that lasted from the 2001-02 season through the 2014-15 one. His resume included one All-Star selection, three All-Defensive selections and the 2004-25 block title.
David Blatt, who coached the 2014-15 Cleveland Cavaliers that featured LeBron James to the NBA Finals, was also included on the list of nominees.
