Robben Out Of Euro Qualifiers
Friday, Oct. 2
According to the Associated Press (via ESPNFC), Robben will miss the Dutch team's clashes with Kazakhstan on Oct. 10, and the team's matchup with the Czech Republic on Oct. 13.
Robben was forced off the pitch in his country's shock 1-0 defeat to Iceland on Sept. 3, with a groin problem ending his match in the first half.
The loss of Robben is a big blow for the Bundesliga champions as he is one of their most lethal attacking threats.
In his long-term absence at the end of last season with a calf injury, Bayern were knocked out of the Champions League and lost three matches in the Bundesliga—though they had already claimed the title by then.
However, he is undoubtedly one of the most important cogs in manager Pep Guardiola's machine.
