ACC/SEC Challenge 2025 Men's Scores, Highlights and Reaction from Tuesday

The ACC/SEC Men's Challenge kicked off Tuesday night with multiple games featuring top-25 teams.

Syracuse started out the evening with an upset of No. 13 Syracuse, while potential top NBA pick Cameron Boozer helped No. 4 Duke hold on for a victory over No. 15 Florida.

The ACC ended the night with a 7-3 lead over the SEC.

Highlights and reaction

Syracuse 62, No. 13 Tennessee 60

Syracuse upset No. 13 Tennessee thanks to 19 points from Nate Kingz and some clutch plays from J.J. Starling down the stretch.

Virginia Tech 86, South Carolina 83 (OT)

Virginia couldn't hold on to a second-half lead as South Carolina tied the game in regulation, but a layup by Ben Hammond with 13 seconds left in overtime made the difference in Tuesday night's win.

No. 4 Duke 67, No. 15 Florida 66

Boozer continued impressing fans as the Blue Devils with a team-high 29 points in a Tuesday night win over a ranked opponent.

Boogie Fland helped Florida grab back the lead with just 35 seconds left on the clock before Boozer fed Isaiah Evans for a game-winning three.

Notre Dame 76, Missouri 71

Notre Dame handed Missouri its first loss of the season thanks to a double-double from Markus Burton and clutch late shots from Cole Certa, who came off the bench to contribute 14 points in just 17 minutes on the court.

No. 16 North Carolina 67, No. 18 Kentucky 64

A close matchup between two ranked teams came down to back-to-back buckets from rookie guard Derek Dixon that put the Tar Heels ahead in the final 20 seconds.


The ACC/SEC Challenge continues Wednesday, starting with a 7:15 p.m. ET matchup between No. 6 Louisville and No. 25 Arkansas.
