Andy Reid Says Chiefs Will 'Try to Tickle Your Tonsils on Every Play,' Eyes Win Streak
Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid knows his team has a lot of work to do to contend for a playoff spot, but he had an interesting way of describing the approach for the rest of the year.
"We're gonna try to tickle your tonsils on every play in every game," Reid told reporters on Monday as he discussed the Chiefs' desire to string together some wins.

Buzz: Packers Wanted Chiefs' QB Pick
The Chiefs fell to 6-6 after losing to the Dallas Cowboys 31-28 on Thanksgiving Day. Kansas City now sits two games out of the seventh and final playoff spot in the AFC, putting the three-time defending conference champions in jeopardy of missing the postseason for the first time since Reid's second year with the franchise in 2014.
Things won't get easier anytime soon for the Chiefs, as they will face a surging Houston Texans team that has won its last four games in Week 14 on Sunday Night Football. AFC West matchups against the Los Angeles Chargers (8-4) and Denver Broncos (10-2) are also remaining on Kansas City's schedule, and it already lost to both teams earlier this year.
The Chiefs will get a bit of a respite when they face the Tennessee Titans (1-11) in Week 16. Kansas City will also close out the year with a matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders, who sit in last place in the AFC West at 2-10.
It sounds like Reid will have the Chiefs prepared to showcase their usual form as the most dominant team in the AFC as the regular season winds down. Every win will be crucial to Kansas City's hopes of making it back to the playoffs and chasing another Super Bowl title.
