Illinois MCBB HC Brad Underwood Wears Full Orange Jumpsuit in Photo After Viral Meme

Illinois head coach Brad Underwood is apparently paying attention to what's happening online.

The 61-year-old dressed in a full orange jumpsuit outfit as the Illini were set off to travel to New York City for Friday's marquee matchup against Connecticut at Madison Square Garden.

This is the same look that was the subject of a viral meme back in April that praised Underwood for his international recruiting prowess.

Underwood has the Illini off to a strong 6-1 start this season, including a victory over then-No. 11 Texas Tech on Nov. 11.

Now in his ninth season at Illinois, Underwood has led the program to at least 20 wins and the NCAA tournament in each of the previous five years. If he leads his team an upset win over No. 5 Connecticut in MSG, the fans in Illinois will probably demand he wear the jumpsuit before every game the rest of this season.
