Dan Hurley Says UConn 'F--king Blew a Chance' to Beat Arizona, Rips Up Box Score
UConn head coach Dan Hurley wasn't pleased with his team's performance after the No. 3 Huskies suffered a 71-67 loss at the hands of No. 4 Arizona on Wednesday.
"Sometime around 2:00 a.m., 3:00, 4:30 a.m., I'm going to wake up and think it was just a nightmare," Hurley told reporters after tearing the game's box score. "And then finally when I'm up and just starting to move around but I'm feeling half-dead at around 7:30-8:00, I'm going to realize that we just f--king blew a chance to beat one of the best teams down two studs in a game that we were down 13 and wobbling."

Hurley also experienced some issues with his postgame beverage.
The Huskies trailed by as many as 13 points early in the second half of Wednesday's contest, but eventually took a 64-62 lead following a jumper from Malachi Smith.
UConn couldn't maintain its late advantage, as Wildcats center Motiejus Krivas hit a go-ahead shot with just over one minute remaining in the half before a layup from Jaden Bradley extended Arizona's lead. The Wildcats then connected on four consecutive free throws to seal the win.
Despite the loss, it was an admirable performance from a Huskies squad missing leading scorer Tarris Reed Jr. as well as preseason Big East Freshman of the Year Braylon Mullin due to ankle injuries.
Hurley still wasn't happy with the late blown lead, though.
