Jaelan Phillips Doubles Down, Calls Eagles Trade Best Thing to Happen to Him on Video

Jaelan Phillips made headlines when he said being traded to the Philadelphia Eagles was the "greatest thing" that ever happened to him.

He wasn't backing down from those remarks after Sunday night's 16-9 win over the Detroit Lions:

Phillips did add later in the interview that once he's married and his first child is born, those days will surpass the moment he was traded from the Miami Dolphins to the Eagles. But for now, the day he was traded tops the list.

The Eagles and fans in Philadelphia are sending the love right back. Phillips has been a game-wrecker in his first two contests with the team, registering a sack, 11 tackles, a stuff and a number of pressures on Jordan Love and Jared Goff.
