The Giants opened the season 0-3 under Russell Wilson before turning to Dart. The 2025 first-round pick has since led the franchise to a 2-3 record featuring wins over the Los Angeles Chargers and Philadelphia Eagles.

Manning first talked about his son's Halloween plans on Monday's episode of ESPN's ManningCast.

"It hurts a little bit," Manning said about his son choosing another Giants quarterback over himself. "But he's got the chain, which is nice. The problem is, we got it last week, and he wants to wear it to school every day... I think he was trying to outsmart us, and that was his excuse that he could get a chain to wear full time."

When asked Wednesday about Charlie Manning's costume plans, Dart laughed and said, "I think it's awesome."

Dart continued, "I met Charlie a few times, obviously been around Eli a lot, and I think maybe, like he said, he's a little disappointed it wasn't him. But it's just a cool relationship, and I think it's awesome."

On whether he thought there was a possibility of seeing more trick-or-treaters dressed like himself this Friday, Dart said, "Shoot, I hope so. I'm gonna be ready."

Dart and the Giants are coming off of a tough Week 8 loss in Philadelphia during which rookie running back Cam Skattebo suffered serious leg and ankle injuries that will sideline him for the rest of the season.

The Giants were already missing top wideout Malik Nabers, who recently underwent surgery to address the season-ending ACL injury he suffered in September.

Running back Tyrone Tracy Jr. and wide receiver Wan'Dale Robinson are on track to assume bigger workloads as Dart looks to celebrate Halloweekend by leading his team to a Sunday home win over the San Francisco 49ers.
