Domani Jackson NFL Draft 2026 Scouting Report for Green Bay Packers CB
The Green Bay Packers selected Alabama CB Domani Jackson with the No. 201 overall pick in the 2026 NFL draft.
Domani Jackson is a talented press-man cover corner. He shows the versatility and football IQ to flip between Cover 2 and man while staying responsible and sound.
Jackson is a former 5-star recruit and transfer from USC who shined in his first season at Alabama. He started all 13 games for the Crimson Tide in 2024 and totaled 52 tackles (27 solo), two tackles for loss, a forced fumble, seven pass breakups, and a pair of interceptions. His 2025 season was marred by inconsistent play, and he was relegated to the bench at one point. Questions about his effort level and in-game consistency from the coaching staff will impact his evaluation.
Dan has covered the Kansas City Chiefs and the NFL Draft since 2019 while contributing for RGR Football. Most recently, he spent the 2025 draft cycle at The Draft Network and is entering his first season in our scouting department.

Where He Wins
2 of 5
— Jackson is a bigger corner who plays like it with physicality through the route and the length to impact the catch point.
— He is confident as a press-man style cover corner with the footwork and hips to flip and run vertical. He mirrors well from a press alignment and has the athletecism to execute.
— Shows the football IQ to transition from man coverage to Cover 2 or 3 but is more comfortable in two-high. He passes off receivers to the next zone well.
— He's not shy coming downhill against ball carriers. He sniffs out screens and tackles well with his length in pursuit.
Areas of Improvement
3 of 5
— Jackson isn't afraid to trigger downhill, but he can be overeager in off-coverage, biting on fakes, which leads to double-moves from the offense.
— He can be grabby downfield, and his being late to turn his head and locate the football creates penalties and losses in one-on-one situations.
— Timing his jam in press coverage will help prevent receivers from crossing his face too quickly and stacking him.
— Recognizing the run game and path of the ball carrier will help keep him in the proper position. He allows runners outside and gives up explosive plays with hesitancy and poor pursuit angles.
