Seth Rollins Stripped of WWE World Title amid Injury, Championship Plans Revealed
Seth Rollins has lost his WWE World Heavyweight Championship.
The star was stripped of his title on Monday because he's currently out with a shoulder injury that requires surgery.
But WWE fans won't have to wait long to find out who the new champion will be. There will be a Battle Royal on Monday, and the winner will face CM Punk for the title during Saturday Night's Main Event.

Rollins injured came after last Monday's episode of Raw when Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed, members of Rollins' faction, The Vision, turned on Rollins with a violent attack to end the night. Breakker also stole Rollins championship belt after attacking him.
After the attack, Wrestling Observer (h/t WrestleTalk) reported that Rollins undergo shoulder surgery "as soon as possible" and would be out at least "several months."
While Raw general manager Adam Pearce said Monday that the injury was a result of the attack from Breakker and Reed, it appears it might have ocurred earlier than that.
During Saturday's Crown Jewel Championship match against WWE champion Cody Rhodes, Rollins appeared to have suffered an arm injury while attempting a coast-to-coast move against Rhodes. He stayed in the match but was favoring his arm.
A photo of him wearing a slink emerged after the fight.
It's unclear exactly what Rollins' timeline is, but it seems like he's looking at a lengthy recovery.
"They don't know all the damage in his shoulder and they will find out the damage when they open him up and when they do the surgery," Dave Meltzer said in a recent edition of the "Wrestling Observer Radio" (h/t USA Today's Jordan Mendoza). "He's out for months for sure."
Unfortunately for Rollins, he'll have to watch from home on Saturday as someone else claims his World Heavyweight Championship.
