Pat McAfee Says Daniel Jones 'Lives' in Colts' Facilities Amid 5-1 Start
Indianapolis Colts quarterback Daniel Jones apparently hasn't had much of a home life since joining the team.
ESPN's Pat McAfee reported Wednesday that Jones effectively "lives" at the Colts facility. He's arriving at 5 a.m. and is one of the last players to leave:

That commitment seems to be paying off. Jones has 1,502 passing yards with eight touchdowns and three interceptions through six starts, and the Colts are first in the AFC at 5-1.
The 2019 first-round pick only signed with Indy for one year and $14 million. His stock declined sharply toward the end of his time with the New York Giants, and many assumed he'd have to settle for the backup role on the Colts to start the 2025 season.
Now, Indianapolis may have a bit of a dilemma on its hands with Jones playing so well and Anthony Richardson under contract through at least 2026.
When it comes to Jones, McAfee reported the Colts "believe that he's the perfect guy," and they're comparing his tape now to what he did during his Giants run.
Just ask New York whether it's risky to hand the 28-year-old a big deal on the basis of one good season. The team quickly came to regret re-signing him for $160 million in 2023.
But Baker Mayfield and Sam Darnold are the two obvious examples of how the right setting can make all the difference for a quarterback who has fallen short of expectations based on his draft status.
Maybe Jones found that in Indianapolis.
