Sleeper: Tari Eason, PF, Houston Rockets
2 of 3
Injuries have been an issue (and still are) for Rockets forward Tari Eason but the 24-year-old has a ton of upside if he can stay on the court.
Last season saw him deliver his strongest stat line to date, with 12 points, 6.3 rebounds, and 2.1 assists in 24.9 minutes. He shot a career-best 48.7 percent from the paint, too.
His defensive skill set and ability to dish the ball make him a valuable asset. While there is some question about where he it's in a jam-packed Rockets lineup, there will be opportunities throughout the season for him to contribute and become a potential breakout fantasy performer.
The uncertainty about his playing time is worrisome, but in deeper leagues with more spots available for managers to fill, Eason is a grab-and-stash candidate who could prove to be a difference-maker, particularly from mid-season on as injuries and on-court chemistry with Kevin Durant dictate.
Kevin Porter Jr., SG, Milwaukee Bucks
3 of 3
The departure of Damian Lillard left a big whole for the Bucks offensively and will create opportunities for those around Giannis Antetokounmpo, including Kevin Porter Jr.
Last season saw the guard rebound after making the move from the Clippers to the Bucks. He improved his field goal percentage by seven points upon his arrival in Milwaukee and his three-point percentage jumped an astonishing 16.3 percent.
More importantly, Porter brings a presence at the hoop, with 3.7 rebounds per game across both teams last season, and he dishes the ball, too, with 3.4 assists per.
He averaged 11.7 points per game once he debuted with the Bucks and there is no reason to think that he cannot improve upon those numbers and be a legitimate fantasy breakout star in 2025-26.
Especially as the undisputed starting point guard.
