Earlier this year, Lunsford won the Arnold Classic and Pittsburgh Pro, so he achieved his goal of a triple crown in Las Vegas. In terms of a Mr. Olympia/Arnold Classic double, Brandon Curry in 2019 was the last bodybuilder to pull off that feat.
This is also the second Mr. Olympia title for 32-year-old Indiana native after he came out on top in 2023. His efforts were well rewarded this time around as he took home $600,000.
Dauda, the 2024 champion, was unable to defend his crown and fell to fourth, while Choopan settled for a third successive runner-up finish.
