Blue Jays' Andres Gimenez Trolls Yankees with Steph Curry's 'Night Night' in Video
Andrés Giménez rubbed salt in the New York Yankees' wounds by invoking Stephen Curry during the postgame celebration after helping the Toronto Blue Jays eliminate the Bronx Bombers from the playoffs with a 5-2 win in Game 4 of the American League Division Series.
In the Blue Jays' locker room after the game, Giménez's victory dance included Curry's famous "night night" celebration.

Curry introduced the celebration during the 2022 NBA playoffs with the Golden State Warriors when he put his hands to head mimicking a sleeping pose after hitting a layup in Game 3 of the first-round series against the Denver Nuggets.
After breaking out the celebration later in that postseason against the Dallas Mavericks, Curry explained the meaning behind it.
Just having fun," Curry said. "You talk about having kids, you know how bedtime routines are important. It's the final signal for a job well done that day."
The most iconic use of the "night night celebration by Curry was after his dagger for Team USA at the 2024 Olympics in the gold medal game against France.
Giménez didn't have a singular moment like that in the closeout game, but he did finish 1-for-4 with a run scored in the seventh inning when the Blue Jays extended their lead to 4-1.
The Blue Jays and Yankees finished the regular season tied in the standings with 94-68 records, but Toronto won the AL East thanks to an 8-5 head-to-head record.
There was no doubt who the better team was in the ALDS. The Blue Jays outscored the Yankees 34-19 in the four games. Vladimir Guerrero Jr. had nearly as many homers on his own (three) as the Yankees did as a team (four).
Even though there is still work for the Blue Jays to do to reach the top of the mountain, they more than earned their right to this celebration in the Yankee Stadium locker room.
Toronto is playing in the American League Championship Series for the first time since 2016. It will host the winner of the Detroit Tigers-Seattle Mariners series in Game 1 of the ALCS on Sunday.
