Josh Allen Says His '1 Regret' Is Not Beating Tom Brady Before QB's NFL Retirement
There are two things Josh Allen never got from Tom Brady during the NFL legend's career: Quarterbacking advice, and a win against him.
"Do you think Tom has given advice to any other quarterbacks? Absolutely not. No," he told NBC's Devin McCourty (9:40 mark). "I've gotten to know Tom over the years now and I'd say we have a good relationship, but... yeah, I don't think there's much advice given to anybody. I never got to beat him, that's my one regret in my football career. Didn't get to beat Tom. But I've beaten him on the golf course a few times."

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Allen had an 0-4 record against Brady, with three of the losses coming during Brady's time with the New England Patriots and one coming during his Tampa Bay Buccaneers' era.
It is Allen who has emerged as the AFC East's preeminent quarterback, however, leading the Bills to five straight division titles (and Buffalo appears to be well on its claiming a sixth in a row, opening the season 4-0 while the Patriots, New York Jets and Miami Dolphins are a combined 3-9).
Brady once led the Patriots to 11 straight division titles, so Allen has some catching up to do in that regard, too. And Allen would surely love to get anywhere close to Brady's seven titles. Getting to the Super Bowl this season, after a number of years falling short in the AFC playoffs, would be a nice start.
There's no doubt that Allen has emerged as one of the NFL's top players, however, fresh off of last year's MVP award. This season he's thrown for 964 yards, seven touchdowns and just one interception, adding 159 yards and three scores on the ground.
At some point, Allen will have a chance to beat Brady, albeit in a roundabout way. With Brady now a minority owner of the Las Vegas Raiders, Allen will eventually got the chance to knock off a team Brady is affiliated with. It won't be in a head-to-head quarterback matchup, but it's something.
