Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Peete has been Tampa Bay's running backs coach under head coach Todd Bowles since 2023. He previously held the same role with the Los Angeles Rams, Chicago Bears, Dallas Cowboys and Oakland Raiders, and he also has extensive coaching experience at the college level with stops at UCLA, Rutgers, Michigan State and Pitt.
Peete transformed a Buccaneers rushing offense that ranked last in the NFL in 2023 with 88.8 yards per game into a formidable unit. The team vaulted up to fourth in the league last season with 149.2 rushing yards per game, and it is tied for 10th this year with 124.0 ypg.
The 62-year-old has helped bring the best out of 2024 fourth-round pick Bucky Irving, who racked up 1,122 yards and eight touchdowns as a rookie. He has 237 yards on 17 carries this year, along with 19 catches for 193 yards and two touchdowns.
The Bucs suffered their first loss of the season in Week 4, falling 31-25 to the defending Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles. Tampa Bay will look to bounce back on Sunday when it visits the Seattle Seahawks, who are also 3-1.
