Wild-Card Race
- New York Yankees (93-68)

- Detroit (87-74)
Toronto and Cleveland just need to win to keep the standings the way they are entering Sunday.
The Blue Jays hold the tiebreaker in the AL East over the New York Yankees, while the Guardians are ahead of the Detroit Tigers in the AL Central on a tiebreaker.
Toronto is at home against the Tampa Bay Rays with Kevin Gausman on the mound. The Yankees play the Baltimore Orioles at Yankee Stadium. They are starting Luis Gil.
The Rays are just 2-6 in their last eight games, so the expectation is the Blue Jays hold on to the AL East and home-field advantage, which would then set up a Yankees-Red Sox wild-card series in the Bronx.
Cleveland just needs to beat the Texas Rangers, or have the Tigers lose to the Red Sox to win the AL Central.
Detroit must beat the Red Sox at Fenway Park and have Cleveland fall at home to secure the division title.
Regardless of the results in the AL Central, there's a good chance the Tigers and Guardians meet in the wild-card round.

The final wild-card spot is the last thing to be determined in the NL.
Cincinnati needs a win in Milwaukee, or a Mets loss in Miami, to clinch a playoff berth.
The Reds own the head-to-head tiebreaker over the Mets, so if they finish with the same record, they will make the playoffs and face the Los Angeles Dodgers in the wild-card round.
Cincinnati is calling on Brady Singer to get the win in Game 162, while the Mets will throw Sean Manaea in Miami.
The Mets have the easier matchup on paper since the Reds are going up against Brewers ace Freddy Peralta, but the Reds haven't been slowed down by many pitchers lately. The Reds own an 8-2 record in their last 10 games.
