Week 4 Fantasy Football Rankings with Flex and PPR Outlook for Each Position
Week 4 got underway with an exciting game between the Seattle Seahawks and the Arizona Cardinals. The game included a thrilling finish and a few strong fantasy performances that either got managers off to a good start or left them in a hole.
The action will pick back up on Sunday morning with an international game between the Pittsburgh Steelers and Minnesota Vikings—don't forget to set those lineups!
Here, you'll find point-per-reception (PPR) rankings for the top remaining flex plays, along with a few sleepers to consider.
Quarterback

- Josh Allen, Buffalo Bills
- Lamar Jackson, Baltimore Ravens
- Justin Herbert, Los Angeles Chargers
- Jalen Hurts, Philadelphia Eagles
- Caleb Williams, Chicago Bears
- Drake Maye, New England Patriots
- Patrick Mahomes, Kansas City Chiefs
- Jordan Love, Green Bay Packers
- Bo Nix, Denver Broncos
- Daniel Jones, Indianapolis Colts
Sleeper: Geno Smith, Las Vegas Raiders
Managers won't be playing quarterback in the flex—aside from in superflex leagues, of course—but it's worth diving into the top remaining plays. Las Vegas Raiders starter Geno Smith has the potential to enter top-10 territory this week.
Smith has had his fair share of struggles behind a horrendous offensive line. However, he's coming off of a 289-yard, three-touchdown game and entering a very enticing matchup.
The Raiders are set to host the Chicago Bears, who have surrendered the third-most fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks this season. Managers who need a streamer or a temporary fill-in should see if Smith is available on the waiver wire.
Smith is rostered in 47 percent of Yahoo leagues and only 28 percent of ESPN leagues.
Running Back

- Christian McCaffrey, San Francisco 49ers
- Jonathan Taylor, Indianapolis Colts
- James Cook, Buffalo Bills
- Bijan Robinson, Atlanta Falcons
- De'Von Achane, Miami Dolphins
- Saquon Barkley, Philadelphia Eagles
- Bucky Irving, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
- Jahmyr Gibbs, Detroit Lions
- Josh Jacobs, Green Bay Packers
- Omarion Hampton, Los Angeles Chargers
- Jordan Mason, Minnesota Vikings
- Kyren Williams, Los Angeles Rams
- Breece Hall, New York Jets
- J.K. Dobbins, Denver Broncos
- Ashton Jeanty, Las Vegas Raiders
- Chuba Hubbard, Carolina Panthers
- Cam Skattebo, New York Giants
- Alvin Kamara, New Orleans Saints
- Travis Etienne Jr., Jacksonville Jaguars
- Jaylen Warren, Pittsburgh Steelers
Sleeper: Kareem Hunt, Kansas City Chiefs
Managers have pretty much been able to avoid the Kansas City Chiefs backfield this season. Isiah Pacheco and Kareem Hunt have split time pretty evenly, and neither has been particularly productive.
However, Hunt should have a reasonable PPR floor in Week 4. He's still involved in the passing game (5 targets, 3 receptions this season) and tends to get Kansas City's goal-line work. He's seen just two fewer touches than Pacheco and is averaging 0.3 yards more per touch through three weeks.
Hunt is also more readily available than Pacheco, rostered in just 39 percent of Yahoo leagues and 37 percent of ESPN leagues. Managers seeking a sleeper off the waiver wire should consider Hunt against the Baltimore Ravens this week.
No team has allowed more fantasy points to opposing RBs this year than Baltimore.
Wide Receiver

- Puka Nacua, Los Angeles Rams
- Malik Nabers, New York Giants
- Justin Jefferson, Minnesota Vikings
- Nico Collins, Houston Texans
- Amon-Ra St. Brown, Detroit Lions
- Garrett Wilson, New York Jets
- Drake London, Atlanta Falcons
- Rome Odunze, Chicago Bears
- Ja'Marr Chase, Cincinnati Bengals
- A.J. Brown, Philadelphia Eagles
- Davante Adams, Los Angeles Rams
- Zay Flowers, Baltimore Ravens
- Emeka Egbuka, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
- Tetairoa McMillan, Carolina Panthers
- Courtland Sutton, Denver Broncos
- Jakobi Meyers, Las Vegas Raiders
- Tyreek Hill, Miami Dolphins
- George Pickens, Dallas Cowboys
- Ricky Pearsall, San Francisco 49ers
- Keenan Allen, Los Angeles Chargers
- Ladd McConkey, Los Angeles Chargers
- Deebo Samuel, Washington Commanders
- Brian Thomas Jr., Jacksonville Jaguars
- Chris Olave, New Orleans Saints
- DK Metcalf, Pittsburgh Steelers
- Quentin Johnston, Los Angeles Chargers
- DeVonta Smith, Philadelphia Eagles
- Khalil Shakir, Buffalo Bills
- D.J. Moore, Chicago Bears
- Jameson Williams, Detroit Lions
Sleeper: Romeo Doubs, Green Bay Packers
The Green Bay Packers offense struggled mightily against the Cleveland Browns in Week 3, but that shouldn't foreshadow a trend. While the Packers offense still has yet to find its rhythm, it won't consistently be contained like it was in Cleveland.
In fact, the Packers have a great chance to break out of their funk this week against the Dallas Cowboys, who might have the worst defense in the NFL.
The situation is favorable enough that Romeo Doubs looms as a smart sleeper play. Rostered in less than 40 percent of Yahoo and ESPN leagues, he's another sensible pickup this week too.
Doubs didn't do much last week but had 68 receiving yards in Week 1 and a touchdown grab in Week 2. This week, he'll face a Cowboys defense that has surrendered the most fantasy points to opposing WRs.
Tight End
4 of 4.jpg)
- Brock Bowers, Las Vegas Raiders
- Tyler Warren, Indianapolis Colts
- Tucker Kraft, Green Bay Packers
- Jake Ferguson, Dallas Cowboys
- Hunter Henry, New England Patriots
- Dalton Kincaid, Buffalo Bills
- T.J. Hockenson, Minnesota Vikings
- Sam LaPorta, Detroit Lions
- Juwan Johnson, New Orleans Saints
- Travis Kelce, Kansas City Chiefs
- Zach Ertz, Washington Commanders
- David Njoku, Cleveland Browns
- Mark Andrews, Baltimore Ravens
- Kyle Pitts, Atlanta Falcons
- Harold Fannin Jr., Cleveland Browns
Sleeper: Mason Taylor, New York Jets
The likely return of Justin Fields (concussion) to the New York Jets offense lowers the floor of rookie tight end Mason Taylor just a bit. Taylor caught just two passes on three targets over the first two weeks of the season but caught four of six targets with Tyrod Taylor behind center in Week 3.
Ideally, though, offensive coordinator Tanner Engstrand will look to keep pushing the ball toward the talented rookie. If so, Taylor stands to be a find deep sleeper in larger leagues.
Taylor is rostered in less than 10 percent of ESPN and Yahoo leagues.
With the Dolphins starting to find an offensive identity in Week 3, they're primed to put up points against New York on Monday night. This should keep the Jets passing to players like Taylor against a very vulnerable Miami defense. The Dolphins have surrendered the fourth-most fantasy points to opposing tight ends.
