Peyton Manning Pitches 5 NFL Rule Changes to Eli in 'ManningCast' Video
During this week's ManningCast of the Monday Night Football game between the Baltimore Ravens and Detroit Lions on ESPN, legendary quarterback Peyton Manning had some fun with his brother Eli by pitching a list of NFL rule changes that he hopes to see implemented as soon as possible.
Unsurprisingly, most of Manning's proposals appear to be beneficial to quarterbacks. The full list of his ideas for five rule changes is as follows:
- Intercepted Hail Mary's shouldn't count against QBs
- False start/offsides equity within the 10-yard line
- Targets should not be an official statistic
- Batted balls = Illegal!!!
- Cash payments on the field for late hits

While some of these ideas could use some refinement, Manning received a vote of confidence from his brother and was urged to reach out to NFL commissioner Roger Goodell.
"You call the commissioner, I think all five of these are getting changed," Eli said.
"I'll call him, but like, nobody calls me back," Peyton replied. "The Pope doesn't call me back, Bradley Cooper doesn't call me back, Larry David. I'm still chasing these guys, so maybe you should call him."
