Kage Casey NFL Draft 2026 Scouting Report for Denver Broncos OT
The Denver Broncos selected Boise State OT Kage Casey with the No. 111 overall pick in the 2026 NFL draft.
Kage Casey operates from a firm, square base with good processing skills, hand placement, and play strength that help offset below-average athletic ability and length. His craftiness mitigates some physical limitations, but the jump in competition and lack of proven versatility project him best as a quality swing backup with spot-start potential at guard or tackle despite limited experience inside
Casey is a 6'6", 310-pound offensive line prospect who entered the Boise State program as a 3-star recruit in the 2022 class.
Casey started 41 career games at left tackle, including 13 in 2025 while earning his second consecutive First-Team All-Mountain West selection. The former Bronco participated in the 2026 Senior Bowl where he repped at tackle and guard.

Where He Wins
2 of 5
- Good play strength with a stiff punch and strong core to brace and anchor on command.
- Good hand placement using a high-low clamp or double-under to quickly latch rushers once they're within reach.
- Does a good job lining up and digging out defenders on angle-drive blocks and covering up and pinning defenders on down blocks to solidify lanes off of his backside.
- Takes good angles with the right timing and tempo on the move to intersect targets.
- Sawed off build but understands how to play long to maximize his length.
Areas of Improvement
3 of 5
- Shows some stiffness in his lower half that results in adequate recovery skills.
- Will float off of his spot in pass protection when facing tempo or lag time between contact, creating creases for penetrators on stunts and a soft inside shoulder against counters.
- Upright playing style with a sawed off build can make it a chore for him to regain leverage and control defenders through the whistle once they get on his edges.
- Struggled to find consistency during practice at the Senior Bowl.
