Angel Reese's Final Stats from Sky Star's Historic 2nd Season in WNBA

Angel Reese's sophomore season in the WNBA officially came to an end after she was ruled out prior to the Chicago Sky's season finale against the New York Liberty on Thursday with a back injury.

The Sky were eliminated from playoff contention on Aug. 21.

As for Reese, she'll end the 2025 season with averages of 14.7 points, 12.6 rebounds, 3.7 assists, 1.5 steals and 0.7 blocks per game. She shot 45.8 percent from the field and 18.2 percent from three-point territory while connecting on 75.6 percent of her free throws.

Reese became the third player in WNBA history to average a double-double in each of her first two years in the league.

It was an impressive individual season for the 23-year-old, as her scoring average and field-goal percentage both represented increases compared to her rookie year.

Reese also took on a larger offensive role near the end of her 2025 campaign and held her own, scoring 17.7 points per game on 51.4 percent shooting over her final 15 appearances of the season.

The No. 7 overall pick in the 2024 WNBA draft didn't end the year on a high note, though. Reese was suspended for the first half of a matchup against the Las Vegas Aces on Sunday due to "statements detrimental to the team," later apologizing for calling out her teammates.

Still, the two-time All-Star showcased her development on the court in 2025.
