Kyler Murray Explains Waking Up at 4:30 A.M., Feeling Ill Ahead of Cardinals' Win
Arizona Cardinals fans were surely worried when the team announced ahead of Sunday's game against the New Orleans Saints it added quarterback Kyler Murray to the injury report because of an illness even though he was still expected to play.
While he ended up playing and leading the Cardinals to a 20-13 victory, he apparently went through quite the ordeal before the contest.
NFL insider Jordan Schultz relayed Murray's FaceTime with FaZe Adapt in which the quarterback explained he woke up sick at 4:30 a.m. and needed to take Imodium to calm his stomach:

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Fortunately for the Cardinals, he still took the field and played well while going 21-of-29 for 163 yards, two touchdowns and zero interceptions. He also added 38 yards on the ground and seemed to have a better connection with second-year wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. than he did during the pass-catcher's first year.
Harrison finished with five catches for 71 yards and a score.
Murray's ability to stay healthy and on the field is one of the keys to Arizona's season as it looks to bounce back from three straight losing campaigns. While he wasn't exactly healthy for Sunday's contest, he did enough to win.
The defense also looked strong, and the Cardinals will have an opportunity to move to 2-0 with a Week 2 home game against a Carolina Panthers team that was completely outplayed by the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday.
Ideally for Arizona, its quarterback will be healthier for that Week 2 contest.
