Several fines and one suspension were handed down by MLB on Wednesday following a benches-clearing altercation in the San Francisco Giants' 7-4 win over the Colorado Rockies on Tuesday night.
Giants third baseman Matt Chapman was given a one-game suspension for his role in the incident, while designated hitter Rafael Devers and shortstop Willy Adames were fined. Rockies starter Kyle Freeland also received a fine.

Freeland, Chapman and Adames were all ejected for their actions during the brawl, which occurred in the first inning of Tuesday's contest.
After Devers hit a home run off Freeland, the left-hander appeared to take exception to Devers' reaction to the homer and the two started to argue while he rounded first base.
It led to their teammates joining them on the field, as Chapman rushed in and pushed Freeland while Adames got involved in the scuffle as well.
"I didn't do anything wrong," Devers said after the game, per MLB.com's Thomas Harding and Maria Guardado. "I didn't do anything different from when I hit a home run. I don't know why it bothered him."
Freeland disagreed with Devers' perspective.
"I found it extremely disrespectful to show me up like that in the first inning -- after hitting the home run, standing there watching it, taking your sweet time getting down to first base," Freeland said, via Harding and Guardado. "I've been in this league for quite some time. I know he has as well. I just find that extremely disrespectful and felt that I needed to let him know about that."
The Giants went on to win the game with home runs from Casey Schmitt, Wilmer Flores and Patrick Bailey.
San Francisco and Colorado will wrap up their three-game series on Wednesday night, with Chapman still available as he appeals his suspension.
