Allisha Gray paced Atlanta with 19 points, four rebounds and five assists. Brittney Griner added 11 points, and Rhyne Howard led all scorers with 24 points and five assists.
With the win, the Dream improved to 25-14 and moved ahead of the Phoenix Mercury to take sole possession of third place in the WNBA standings and clinch a spot in the 2025 WNBA postseason.
Bueckers got going early, grabbing the first defensive rebound and recording the first assist for the Wings less than 20 seconds into the game, helping Dallas jump out to a quick 4-0 lead. Bueckers found her first bucket at the 6:41 mark with a pull-up jumper, as she, Hines-Allen and Siegrist paced the Wings in the opening quarter. Dallas took a 21-19 lead after 10 minutes, powered by 11 points from Siegrist.
The second quarter proved more difficult for the Wings, who struggled to take care of the ball. Bueckers committed three quick turnovers early in the period, and the Dream capitalized. Griner had nine points by halftime, and Howard added 14, helping Atlanta take a 49-40 lead into the break.
Siegrist continued to find her rhythm in the third quarter, opening the period with the first bucket. Bueckers added to her total with a smooth floater and a pull-up jumper, while Hines-Allen closed the quarter with back-to-back three-pointers—both set up by assists from Bueckers. Siegrist capped the run with a deep three with four seconds remaining, pulling the Wings within four heading into the fourth.
The Dream quickly extended their lead to 14 points early in the fourth quarter, and despite four points and a steal from Bueckers in response, the storm was too much to weather. The Wings' bench was emptied with just over 2:30 remaining.
The Wings return to action Monday when they visit the top-seeded Minnesota Lynx, who have already clinched a playoff spot with a 30-8 record.
