Both games will be rematches from earlier in the tournament. Nevada fell to the lower bracket after falling to Connecticut on Wednesday. Chinese Taipei sent Aruba to the lower bracket back on August 18.

Chinese Taipei, which fell to Florida in last year's LLWS Championship, has looked and played like the best team in the tournament since arriving in Williamsport. The squad pitched a pair of shutouts before pushing past Venezuela in a 7-3 contest to reach the international title game.
While Chinese Taipei is used to reaching the late stages of the LLWS, Aruba will be making its first appearance in the international championship.
Aruba, which has scored 20 runs in its last five games, can put points on the board. However, the experience of Chinese Taipei—and the prowess of ace pitcher Lin Chin-Tse—could be too much for Aruba to overcome.
The first time these teams met, Chinese Taipei walked away with a 4-0 victory.
There will be no repeat champion in the U. S. bracket, as Florida fell 14-0 to South Carolina in the Southeast regional tournament. South Carolina's run came to an end after its second loss to Nevada.
South Carolina had a 3-2 lead in the sixth on Thursday, but Garrett Gallegos's three-run shot won it for Nevada.
Waiting for Nevada is a Connecticut team that has racked up 25 runs in its last three games. The Mountain Region champs beat Nevada 7-3 on Wednesday and might just have the talent to win it all.
"In the back of our minds, we knew this group was special for years," head coach Brian Palazzolo said, per Kristie Keleshian of CBS New York. "We won the Connecticut state title three years in a row."
While Connecticut has looked dominant at times, it hasn't had a flawless run. It suffered a 6-1 loss during the Metro regional tournament and narrowly escaped Texas in a 1-0 contest earlier this month.
Nevada actually had a 3-0 lead in the first meeting but couldn't stop a Connecticut rally and late-inning surge. Another fast start and a strong finish could allow Nevada to win the rematch. And regardless of who wins, it should be a thrilling game for fans.
