US Open Tennis Mixed Doubles Teams, Bracket, Prize Money and TV Schedule
The US Open mixed doubles event is different in every way you could imagine in 2025, but that's a good thing.
The new format moved the mixed doubles event up to the week of singles qualifying and added a ton of the game's top male and female talent.
Only two days are required to complete the event, which will serve as an appetizer for the US Open singles tournament, which gets underway next week.

Prize Money
The winning duo will take home a $1 million prize, which is higher than most prize purses for mixed doubles major tournaments.
Format and Preview
The 16 teams will play over two days.
The first round and quarterfinals take place on Tuesday inside the main show courts at the USTA National Tennis Center.
The semifinals and championship match will be on Wednesday night.
All matches are best-of-three, like normal doubles events, but to fit the event into two days, only four games are required to win a set.
No advantage scoring will be used as well. Once a game reaches deuce, the team that wins the next point wins the game.
Only the championship match will be played in a traditional format with six games needed to win a set.
American Jessica Pegula and Jack Draper of Great Britain are the top-seeded duo. They face Carlos Alcaraz and Emma Raducanu in the first round.
Three all-American teams are entered in the draw. Frances Tiafoe and Madison Keys are playing together, as are Taylor Townsend and Ben Shelton.
Venus Williams will also participate in the event alongside fellow American Reilly Opelka.
Jannik Sinner, Alexander Zverev and Taylor Fritz are among the top-ranked men's singles players participating in the event. Elena Rybakina, Mirra Andreeva and Naomi Osaka are the headliners from the women's singles side.
This isn't a traditional doubles event, and because most of the players do not have extensive mixed doubles experience, the tournament is wide open and any of the 16 teams could win the event.
