The duo is in the midst of their first year as teammates after the Fever acquired Cunningham in an offseason trade with the Phoenix Mercury.
Despite her jokes on social media, Cunningham has stood up for Clark on several occasions this season and was ejected during a matchup with the Connecticut Sun after getting involved in a physical altercation on behalf of the star point guard.
