Bron Breakker Reportedly Avoids Major Injury at WWE SummerSlam After Viral Video
WWE star Bron Breakker apparently avoided a serious injury during his tag team loss to Roman Reigns and Jey Uso in the opening match at SummerSlam.
Fightful's Sean Ross Sapp (via Steve Carrier of Ringside News) that Breakker was "OK" based on the sources he heard from.
Concern over Breakker's status grew Saturday night when one fan posted a video of him favoring his right leg and needing some help on his way backstage.
The former Intercontinental champion also had a wrap around his right knee as he came back to the ring to celebrate Seth Rollins' Money in the Bank briefcase cash-in on CM Punk.
WWE just executed a carefully laid out plan to lead fans to believe Rollins was genuinely hurt in service of making Saturday's twist more impactful. Injuries aren't always what they seem in pro wrestling.
Breakker did seem to be moving a little gingerly as he reveled in Rollins' victory, though. He took his time as he walked down the ring steps.
Although he looked a little worse for wear Saturday night, Breakker's knee issue may not be anything of significance.
