Tom Brady Attends Raiders Training Camp Practice After Approval As Minority Owner

Julia StumbaughAug 1, 2025

Tom Brady made a public appearance at a Las Vegas Raiders training camp practice on Friday for the first time since being approved as a minority owner of the team last October.

KTNV's Nick Walters shared multiple videos of Brady speaking with players including tight end Brock Bowers, running back Raheem Mostert and rookie quarterback Cam Miller during Friday's practice.

The former NFL quarterback was also seen talking with Raiders general manager John Spytek.

Brady made his broadcasting debut last September with Fox. He plans to continue his work in the booth he heads into his first full season as a minority team owner, his agent Don Yee told Sports Business Journal's Ben Fischer in January.

The NFL placed a series of restrictions on Brady following the approval of his purchase of a stake in the Raiders.

These include preventing Brady from criticizing officials, entering another team's facility, seeing another team's practice, or attending broadcast production meetings that often feature opposing coaches and players, per ESPN's Seth Wickersham.

These rules were partially suspended ahead of Super Bowl LIV, during which Brady was allowed to join the Kansas City Chiefs for production meetings and meet with the Philadelphia Eagles ahead of the championship game, per The Athletic's Andrew Marchand and Nate Taylor.

Brady has meanwhile reportedly remained involved in the Raiders' operations during his first season both as a broadcaster and minority owner.

The Athletic's Dianna Russini said in January on Ryen Russilo's podcast with The Ringer that Brady is "running everything in Vegas."

Raiders owner Mark Davis then told the Las Vegas Review-Journal's Vincent Bonsignore in May that he felt Brady had a "vision" for the franchise going forward.

Brady reportedly influenced the Raiders' decision not to pursue Sam Darnold, per The Athletic's Michael Silver, and has since publicly expressed support of Geno Smith since the franchise traded for and extended the quarterback.

Raiders could be seeing even more of Brady as the franchise heads into its first season with Smith under center and head coach Pete Carroll on the sidelines this fall.
