Braves vs. Reds Betting Odds, Player Props, Picks for MLB Speedway Classic at Bristol
The Atlanta Braves and Cincinnati Reds take part in MLB's latest novelty game inside Bristol Motor Speedway on Saturday night.
Most of the speed inside the NASCAR Cup Series track will come from starting pitchers Chase Burns and Spencer Strider.
The pair of right-handers are known for their strikeout power, but some runs should be scored since Strider and Burns have been susceptible to decent-sized run concessions in 2025.

10 Scorching MLB Takes 🌶️

Yankees Call Up 6'7" Prospect 📈
Chase Burns Strikeout Prop Over
Chase Burns comes into Bristol with 10 strikeouts in each of his last three starts.
He holds the edge over the Braves lineup because no Atlanta batters have seen the rookie right-hander's stuff.
On top of that, Burns should pitch with some extra adrenaline. He grew up in Tennessee and began his collegiate career at the University of Tennessee.
Atlanta ranks in the top 10 in strikeouts against right-handed pitchers, and over the last month, the Braves rank seventh in team strikeouts.
It's a matchup and situation, especially early on, for Burns to thrive and introduce himself to some fans on the national stage.
First Three Innings Under
Strider hasn't been as consistent with his strikeout power as he hoped since his return from injury.
He only had three strikeouts in his last outing against Kansas City and had eight or more punchouts twice in his last six appearances.
The best way to take advantage of Strider to bet the first three innings under.
Like Burns, Strider should be pitching with a ton of adrenaline on the national stage. He also has the advantage of minimum appearances versus the Reds' batting order.
It'll probably one turn around the order for each team to adjust to the opposing pitcher.
Elly De La Cruz Over 1.5 Total Bases
It's probably not the time to use the big-time players in big-time games cliche because this is still an August regular season game.
However, Elly De La Cruz will be the biggest star on display at the plate on Saturday with Ronald Acuna Jr. on the injured list.
De La Cruz owns a .304 batting average and .935 OPS against righties, and while lefties have a .199 average against Strider, the Braves' ace has been susceptible to some big hits versus righties, including six home runs.
If the Cincinnati superstar doesn't hit off Strider, he'll have at least one shot to take advantage of an Atlanta bullpen that just gave up eight runs in the series opener on Thursday.
