Yankees' Updated Roster, Payroll, World Series Odds After MLB Trade Deadline Moves

The New York Yankees made five deals on Thursday, representing an incredibly busy trade deadline season for the ballclub.

Pittsburgh Pirates right-handed closer David Bednar and Colorado Rockies right-handed relief pitcher Jake Bird are headed to town.

Then, right before the 6 p.m. ET deadline, the Yanks added Tampa Bay Rays utility player José Caballero and San Francisco Giants right-handed reliever Camilo Doval.

New York also traded infielder Oswald Peraza to the Los Angeles Angels.

Before Thursday, the Yankees added three new position players in Colorado Rockies third baseman Ryan McMahon, Chicago White Sox outfielder Austin Slater Washington Nationals utility man Amed Rosario.

Per Spotrac, the Yankees' total payroll stands at $298.9 million for the 2025 season.

World Series Odds

The latest DraftKings Sportsbook odds list the Yankees with +950 odds ($100 bet to win $950) to win the World Series. That number gives the Yankees 9.52 percent implied odds to take the Fall Classic, per Action Network.

That places the Yanks fifth on the odds ledger behind the Los Angeles Dodgers (+285), Philadelphia Phillies (+800), Detroit Tigers (+800) and New York Mets (+850).
