Stephen Curry's 'GOAT' Movie Debuts 1st Trailer in New Video Ahead of Release Date
The first trailer for the new movie GOAT, produced by Stephen Curry, dropped on Wednesday.
Caleb McLaughlin voices Will Harris, the titular goat, who dreams of one day playing roarball against the "fiercest animals" in the "most dangerous stadium."
Will is an undersized prospect who struggles to catch a break because of his stature.
"A determined undersized goat defies expectations by joining an elite team in roarball—a dangerous sport where animals compete on hazardous, ever-changing courts. With his diverse teammates, he must prove he belongs in the fierce League," per the official synopsis on IMDB.
GOAT seems to be at least partly inspired by Curry's journey from being underrecruited coming out of high school to helping Davidson reach the Elite Eight in the 2008 NCAA tournament and eventually becoming one of the best players in NBA history.
The film is being released by Sony Pictures, which is responsible for the Spider-Verse animated series. Unanimous Media, Curry's production company, is also credited as a producer on the film.
In addition to his work as a producer, Curry also voices the giraffe named Lenny Williamson. This will mark the two-time NBA MVP's first acting appearance in which he's not playing himself.
Other members of the vocal cast include Gabrielle Union, Nick Kroll, David Harbour, Patton Oswalt and Jenifer Lewis.
GOAT will be released in theaters on Feb. 13, 2026.
