MLB Exec Says Yankees Are in 'Tricky Spot' At Trade Deadline Amid Aaron Judge Injury
After losing star slugger Aaron Judge to the injured list with a flexor strain in his elbow, the New York Yankees are facing a tough decision on whether to buy or sell at Thursday's trade deadline.
A National League executive highlighted the Yankees' difficult situation while speaking to MLB.com's Mark Feinsand.
"They are in a tricky spot," the exec said. "A big part of this has to come down to how long Judge is going to actually be out of commission."

Yankees Call Up 6'7" Prospect 📈
Judge is expected to be on IL for at least the full 10-day duration, and he will likely be relegated to designated hitter upon his return. The 33-year-old was in the midst of another MVP-caliber season with a .342 batting average, 37 home runs and 85 RBI.
The Yankees already made some roster additions by acquiring third baseman Ryan McMahon from the Colorado Rockies and outfielder Amed Rosario from the Washington Nationals. Still, New York needs more improvements if it wants to make the World Series for the second straight year.
Time is winding down for the Yankees to make a move before Thursday's deadline, so many will be watching to see how they operate over the next few days.
