
Gregg Glenn III's Death Confirmed by Tulane MCBB Team
Gregg Glenn III, a forward on Tulane's basketball team, died over the weekend at the age of 22.
Tulane head coach Ron Hunter issued a statement noting the school was informed of Glenn's death on Monday.
Sarah Cunningham, Tulane's vice president of student affairs, said in a separate statement that Glenn died in a "tragic accident" over the weekend.
A 4-star recruit coming out of Calvary Christian Academy, Glenn committed to Michigan as part of the 2022-23 freshman class. He appeared in four games for the Wolverines before transferring to Tulane in May 2023.
Glenn has appeared in 64 out of a possible 65 games for the Green Wave over the past two seasons. He started all 34 games as a junior in 2024-25 as Tulane finished with a winning record (19-15) for just the second time in the past 11 seasons.
The Florida native set career highs in scoring (10.6), rebounding (5.3) and assists (3.1) last season.
