The current paid attendance record for an MLB regular-season game is 84,587 between the New York Yankees and Cleveland at Cleveland Municipal Stadium.
MLB's largest crowd on record occurred on March 29, 2018, when the Boston Red Sox and Los Angeles Dodgers played an exhibition game at Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum in front of 115,300 fans.
MLB originally announced the Braves and Reds would be playing in the Speedway Classic during the 2025 season in August 2024. It marks the first time a regular-season MLB game is being played in the state of Tennessee.
In the lead up to Saturday's game, MLB unveiled the field set up inside the stadium.
Bristol Motor Speedway is set up to hold 146,000 fans for racing events, making it the track with the largest seating capacity in NASCAR.
MLB hasn't officially said how many seats will be made available for the Braves-Reds matchup, but it's been speculated the league could get up to 100,000 people in the stadium.
The track has previously hosted college football games, including a 2016 matchup between Virginia Tech and Tennessee. That matchup set an NCAA attendance record with 156,990 people in the stands.
Atlanta and Cincinnati will play at Bristol Motor Speedway on Saturday at 7:15 p.m.
