Jacob Misiorowski Added to All-Star Roster After 5 Starts, Breaks Skenes' MLB Record

That mark was previously held by Pittsburgh Pirates pitcher Paul Skenes, who made 11 appearances last year before starting the 2024 NL All-Star Game.

Misiorowski just enjoyed a fantastic start on Tuesday, striking out 12 batters over six innings while allowing just one earned run in a 3-1 victory over the defending World Series champion Los Angeles Dodgers.
Understandably, Misiorowski was quite ecstatic and emotional upon hearing the news.
Brewers manager Pat Murphy revealed the news during a team meeting.
Misiorowski will now be headed to Truist Park, home of the Atlanta Braves, for the All-Star Game on Tuesday. First pitch is scheduled for 8 p.m. ET.
