Caitlin Clark Jokes She's 'Off-Balanced at This Point' When Not Hit on Shot Attempts
Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark has gotten used to taking contact when putting up shots throughout her budding WNBA career.
"I mean if I don't get hit, maybe I'm off-balanced at this point," Clark joked with reporters on Friday (7:19 mark). "I don't know. Something to look into."

Clark is in the midst of her second season with the Fever after earning 2024 Rookie of the Year honors.
She hasn't been able to exceed her stellar inaugural season on the floor, as she's appeared in just 10 of Indiana's 19 games this year due to groin and quad injuries.
Clark has averaged 17.4 points, 8.6 assists and 1.5 steals per game while shooting 38.6 percent from the field and 30.1 percent from three-point territory during her 2025 campaign.
She's also recording 3.8 free-throw attempts per game this season, a step down from her average of 4.5 foul shots on a nightly basis in 2024.
Still, Clark has been making adjustments to getting hit while pulling up to shoot and is growing more comfortable with finishing through defenders.
