Aaron Judge Says Yankees' 6-Game Losing Streak Isn't Taking Toll on Players
Aaron Judge didn't hesitate when asked on Saturday if the New York Yankees' six-game losing streak is "taking a toll" on his team.
"No," Judge said, per SNY.
Judge was asked the question after the Yankees dropped a sixth straight game with a 12-6 loss to the New York Mets on Saturday at Citi Field.

Yankees Call Up 6'7" Prospect 📈
"Every good team goes through a couple of bumps in the road, but we can't let it falter what our ultimate goal is," Judge said (h/t SNY.) "We've got to keep pushing forward.
"We'll clean some things up. We know what we need to do, and we'll take care of business."
Yankees manager Aaron Boone was meanwhile asked about his "level of frustration" following the losing streak.
"It's been a terrible week... when you live it, and you're going through it, it sucks, it hurts," Boone said (h/t SNY.) "But you've also got to be able to handle it. You've got to be able to deal with it. You've got to be able to weather it, and come out of this and grow.
"Hopefully, as trite as it sounds, or as corny, these are the moments that build character within a team, and also help you find out and define what the heck you need moving forward."
After falling to 48-41 with the Subway Series loss, the Yankees sit 3.0 games back of the Toronto Blue Jays for the AL East lead.
The Tampa Bay Rays also sit 3.0 games back and are threatening to leapfrog the Yankees for the second spot in the division.
That's a very different outlook from the last day of May, when the Yankees sat at 35-22 and held a commanding 5.5-game lead on the AL East.
Since then the Yankees have gone 13-19, most recently suffering a four-game series sweep by the Toronto Blue Jays followed by consecutive losses to the Mets.
Judge has batted .290 over the last 30 days, but other Yankees including shortstop Anthony Volpe (.188 BA) and Paul Goldschmidt (.176 BA) have seen their bats go quiet over the stretch.
Unlike during the Yankees' six-game losing streak earlier in June, however, offense hasn't been the team's biggest issue this month. The Yankees have been held below five runs just once, in a 5-4 June 30 loss to the Blue Jays, during the ongoing losing streak.
Fielding mistakes have plagued the Yankees defenders, while starters including Will Warren and Carlos Rodón have struggled as the rotation braces to potentially lose Clarke Schmidt to Tommy John surgery.
The Yankees' disconnect seemed to be on display at Citi Field on Saturday as Volpe accidentally hit Judge in the face with a throw between innings.
The Yankees will look to snap the losing streak and claim their first win of the Subway Series when the club returns to Citi Field at 1:40 p.m. ET on Sunday. Max Fried is slated to get the start.
