Bryce James Names LeBron as His NBA GOAT in Arizona MCBB Q&A Video

Jack MurrayJun 21, 2025

It's not difficult to guess who Arizona Wildcats guard Bryce James considers to be the greatest of all time.

The Wildcats released an introduction video for James as he prepares for his freshman year. One of the questions asked him who he considers to be the greatest basketball player of all time. When asked, James named his father, LeBron James.

He also said that the Los Angeles Lakers were his favorite team and that his father is his favorite player. In addition to the eldest James, the Lakers organization also has Bronny, Bryce's older brother.

Bryce was rated as a 3-star recruit coming from Sierra Canyon High School in California. He was rated as the No. 264 overall player, the No. 45 guard and the No. 26 player from California by 247 Sports' composite rankings.

He joined a recruiting class that consists of five other players, including 5-star guard Brayden Burries. The class ranks 5th in the nation, per 247 Sports, and the Wildcats will hope to rise to the top of the Big 12 conference.

LeBron is a 21-time All-Star, four-time NBA champion and is the league's all-time leading scorer. He also formed the first father-son duo in NBA history in 2024-25 when Bronny spent some time with the team.

Bryce will need to impress next season to reach the NBA, but he would technically be eligible for 2026. If LeBron could hold on for a few more years, Bryce could get an opportunity to share a court with his brother and father.
