Shedeur Sanders Reportedly 'Outstanding' With Browns Following Pre-Draft Rumors
The Cleveland Browns are impressed with Shedeur Sanders after last week's mandatory minicamp, according to ESPN's Peter Schrager.
"I've heard he was outstanding in the building," Schrager said about Sanders in a Tuesday appearance on the Pat McAfee Show.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Sanders is competing with fellow 2025 NFL draft pick Dillon Gabriel, as well as veterans Joe Flacco and Kenny Pickett, for a spot on the Browns' quarterback depth chart this fall.
Deshaun Watson is also on the depth chart, although his availability for the 2025 season is in question after he underwent surgery to address a second rupture of his Achilles tendon in January.
Jeremy Fowler said Sunday on ESPN's SportsCenter he had been told that Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski's minicamp quarterback plan was "to try to get a lot of different guys different touches in different situations."
"They all really answered the bell, including Sanders, who showed the ability to put the ball in some tight windows. He threw with aggressiveness, took some chances, so they like where he sits," Fowler said.
Cleveland.com's Ashley Bastock reported on Tuesday that Pickett received "the majority of first-team reps," and that Sanders did not work with the Browns' first-team offense in any practices attended by media.
Based on their workload in minicamp, Bastock predicted that Pickett and Gabriel lead the depth chart, followed by Flacco and then Sanders.
Bastock noted that Sanders "made the most of the reps he got with the reserves," and that he "elevated" players like undrafted wide receiver Gage Larvadain.
Sanders joined the Browns on a rookie deal reportedly worth $4.6 million over four years. That relatively affordable contract, as well as the possibility that Flacco and Pickett are hitting free agency next spring, means there is plenty of upside for the Browns if the fifth-round pick can earn a bigger role ahead of his rookie season.
The 23-year-old will get his next chance to impress Stefanski— and potentially earn a shot with the first-team offense— when Browns training camp begins next month.
