Jordan Love 'Can't Wait' for Packers vs. Aaron Rodgers, Steelers on 2025 NFL Schedule
Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love said he "can’t wait" to face off against former franchise legend Aaron Rodgers following Rodgers’ move to the Pittsburgh Steelers.
"It's going to be fun," Love told Chanel3000's Jason Wilde. "It's going to be awesome. I'm excited for it. I can't wait to be on different sides meeting up. I know we'll talk pregame, things like that, and then hopefully we can exchange jerseys after."
The matchup is slated for Week 8 of the NFL schedule on Sunday, Oct. 26, when the Steelers will host the Packers on Sunday Night Football.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Love and Rodgers shared the quarterback room in Green Bay for three seasons after the Packers selected Love with the No. 26 pick in the 2020 NFL Draft.
When the Packers made the move to draft Love in the first round ahead of Rodgers’ 15th season with the team, the now 41-year-old quarterback said he was surprised by the decision.
"I looked down at my phone and my agent just texted me: 'Quarterback.' And I was like, 'No f--king way,'" Rodgers said, per Ryan Glasspiegel of the New York Post. "Then the pick happens, and I immediately got off the couch and was super non-reactive. And I just went to pour myself some tequila and went back to the couch and knew there was going to be some interesting conversations."
The pick and ensuing rift with the team ultimately led to Rodgers signing with the New York Jets in 2023, where he spent two seasons before an offseason move to the Steelers, a change Love said he was excited about for the future Hall of Famer.
"I was excited for A-Rod," Love continued. "I don't think I was too surprised. I feel like there was a lot of rumors going on throughout the whole offseason about him going to the Steelers. I was excited for him that he's coming back and playing. There were also rumors that he might be done, so just knowing he's going to keep playing, that's pretty awesome."
Now, the fifth-year quarterback and 20-year veteran will square off as opponents for the first time in what promises to be a highly anticipated showdown.
