Lamar Jackson Forfeits $750K in Ravens Contract Bonuses By Missing Offseason Workouts
Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson has forfeited a $750,000 bonus because he has not participated in at least 80 percent of the team's offseason workouts (minus mandatory minicamp), per Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk.
Jackson is entering the third year of a five-season, $260 million contract, per Over the Cap. His financial compensation this year includes a $20.25 million base salary, and a $22.5 million guaranteed option.
So whole $750,000 is obviously a massive chunk of change, relatively speaking, it's obviously something that Jackson is OK with passing on in order to continue his workout routine. Jackson does have the opportunity to get that bonus in 2026 and 2027, though.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
As for this season, Jackson hasn't been around much, although Harbaugh doesn't seem particularly concerned about his lack of attendance at voluntary workouts, as relayed by Giana Han of the Baltimore Banner.
This year, Jackson hasn't been completely absent, making an appearance on May 28.
Regardless of his offseason workout regiment and where he's been, whatever he's doing is clearly working. Jackson is a two-time NFL MVP who nearly added a third award to his resume last year before finishing as runner-up to Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen.
He'll look to keep up his great run of success this year beginning September 7, when his Ravens visit the Bills to open the season.
